As an owner-managed hotel, we at the Boutiquehotel Grüner Zweig place particular emphasis on cordiality, personality and passion. Our rooms are lovingly furnished and combine modern chic and comfort with old building substance.
The location, in the heart of the Ore Mountains, in the oldest alley of the small town of Schlettau, characterizes the atmosphere in the house. Quiet and yet central, nature and culture in the immediate vicinity, authentic and loving.
Built around 1750, the baroque farmhouse is nestled in a row of farmhouses. After a long period of vacancy and decay, we drew up plans to save the house and put it to a new use. In December 2018, after two years of construction, the old walls were given new life and our small 4-star hotel opened.

Within half an hour’s drive you can reach various hiking and skiing areas in Germany and the Czech Republic, the mountain bike trail “Stoneman-Miriquidi” is 5 km away and the long-distance hiking trail Eisenach-Budapest leads directly through Schlettau.
